Scripture Readings for a funeral.
The following downloads are sets of readings, packaged for your spiritual needs. Each set of readings is titled with the particular needs for your loved one and family, and are titled as such. For instance, there are two packages to choose from for the funeral of a child, three to choose from for the funeral of an elderly person, and so on. Please choose only one packet (do not mix and match) and let the funeral director or Fr. Jude know which packet you wish to use. The packet of readings you choose will be placed on the pulpit in the church prior to the funeral. Please ask family members or friends to read one, two, or all three readings. The person(s) who read from Scripture should be a practicing Catholic, and familiar with the Liturgy of the Mass.
