St. Joseph/St. Michael Parish Finance Council
Every parish is obligated by Canon Law to have a Finance Council (Canon 1280).
The Finance Council must be established to assist the Pastor in the area of fiscal responsibilities of the parish. This is a body to whom the Pastor reports on a regular basis, and from whom the Pastor seeks counsel in financial matters of the parish. The Finance Council makes periodic reports to the Parish Pastoral Council.
