Fr. Andrew Killeen

Pastor | St. Joseph Catholic Church & St. Michael Chapel

Fr. Andrew Killeen was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Douglas Deshotel on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette. A native of Lafayette, he grew up in the parish community of St. Pius X Catholic Church and attended Catholic school throughout his life, forming a strong foundation in faith and service from an early age.

Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic Church! It is a joy and a blessing to serve as pastor of this faithful and close-knit parish community here in Iota, Louisiana. Whether you are a lifelong member, a recent arrival, or simply exploring the Catholic faith, please know that you are truly welcome here.

St. Joseph Church is a place where the beauty of tradition meets the vitality of a living, growing faith. As a parish family of over 800 households, we are united in our love for Christ and our desire to serve Him through prayer, the sacraments, and acts of charity. We are also proud to be the home parish of St. Francis Elementary School and to support Catholic education through our involvement with Notre Dame High School in Crowley.

We are especially blessed to also serve the community of Egan through St. Michael Chapel, our mission church, which extends our parish’s reach and witness.
