We warmly welcome individuals and families who feel called to explore or join the Catholic faith! Whether you’re just beginning to ask questions about the Catholic Church, are certain about becoming Catholic, are seeking to return after some time away, or recently moved to the area looking for a faith community, we are here to support and guide you every step of the way, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (O.C.I.A.)
The O.C.I.A. is a program tailored for those adults (18 and older) who are not Catholic and have a desire to become Catholic, those who are currently Catholic and who wish to be Confirmed, and for Catholics who wish to be enriched and nourished in our Catholic Faith. This is an opportunity for growth in an individually tailored journey to grow closer to God and His family of faith in Iota and Egan.
At our parish of St. Joseph & St. Michael, Fr. Killeen tailors this program to match each individual's needs. The first step is to contact the office and meet with Fr. Killeen. From there, you and FR. Killeen will work together to decide what is the best way moving forward for you.
